Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, March 10, 2008, age 70 years old. Leaving to mourn husband George; Wanda (Dexter) White, Georgina (Maurice) Vezina, Pauline (Richard) Howell, Christine (Robert) Howell and Charles (Lisa) Woodford; grandchildren: Gina, Melissa, Joshua, Phillip, Michael, Samantha, Allison, Dillion and Marcus; brother Wilson Conway; as well as a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by parents, Phillip and Eva Conway; foster parents, Arthur and Dora Gillard; brothers: Thurman Gillard, Wilfred Gillard, Alonzo Gillard and sister Meta Earl. Special thank you to Dr. Felix and team, nurses and staff at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Also Dr. O'Driscoll at the Central Nfld. Regional Health Centre.
