GRUTZNER, URLEANE - With sadness the family announces the passing of Urleane Audrey Grutzner, loving wife of the late Walter Grutzner, which occurred on Thursday November 14, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1933 in St. Vincent, West Indies she was the daughter of the late Alphonzo and Edna (Crozier) Olton. Urleane was employed 16 years with the Atlantic Sugar Refinery followed by 20 years with the Simonds Co-op, retiring in 2000. She is survived by her son Wayne (Elisabeth) of Saint John; daughter Erica Grutzner (Cecil Shephard) of Baxter’s Corner; grandchildren Karl (Zoe) Grutzner, Mark Grutzner (Jaime) and Bradley and Cameron Shephard; several cousins.
Following cremation visitation will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Sunday November 17, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday November 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow at the funeral home.
