Date de décès : 15 novembre 2013

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Kenneth James Stewart (Kenny), 29, of Moose Jaw. Kenny passed away suddenly around 12:50AM, Friday, November 15, 2013 near Regina, Saskatchewan in a single vehicle rollover. Born November 9, 1984 in Regina, Saskatchewan, he was the first and only son to Barry and Janice Stewart. Kenny is predeceased by his beloved Papa (Edgar Barry Stewart) in 2009 and his great-grandmothers and great-grandfathers. Kenny is survived by his wife of 7 years Courtney Stewart, their three children; Hunter (9), Hailey (6) and Hannah (4) along with Courtney's mom, step-dad and sister, Carrie and Larry Mellom and Candace Montgomery. Also surviving are his parents, Janice and Barry Stewart, two sisters; Deidre Stephanson (Darrin) along with their 3 children Kale (l0) Mikaela (5) and Quinn (3); and Teri Matthews (Devin) along with their 2 children Karston (7) and Nevaeh (5), grandparents Barbara and Dwaine Dornan and Helen Stewart, aunts, uncles, many cousins and his loving Mustang lacrosse family. Kenny grew up in Moose Jaw as an extremely talented athlete with an exceptional love for lacrosse. He was a great hunter and loved the outdoors whether driving on back roads or walking through a field with a keen eye out for game. Above all, Kenny was an amazing and dedicated family man who poured all of his soul into being the best father that he could be. Kenny lived to be a father and found nothing more enjoyable than spending time with his three children as much as he possibly could. Kenny has touched the hearts of many and will be thought of fondly and often by all who were blessed to have had him in their lives. A Celebration of Kenny’s life will be held at the Hillcrest Apostolic Church, 1550 Main St.N., on Thursday November 21, 2013 at 1:30 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a trust fund to help support Ken’s children, c/o Barry Stewart. In living memory of Kenny, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. Please sign the memorial register at website: www.wjjonesandson.com (Obituaries).
