Martin, Annie “Theresa” – 94, Truro, passed away peacefully November 20, 2013 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Jane (Baldwin) Woods. Theresa taught at St. Mary’s School, Truro for many years and continued to appreciate the friendship of her former students and fellow teachers throughout her life. She valued family gatherings and the time spent with her many dear friends. She is survived by daughters, Joan (Raymond) Ross, Walton, Kathleen (Bob) Amos, Melvern Square, Marilyn McGlashing, Truro; sons, Bernard (Ruth) Chatham, Ont., Paul (Barbara), Amherst; grandchildren, Marty, Colin (Tammy) and Andrew Ross, Robert (Jacqueline) Amos, Terri (Erick) Murray, Kiersten (Jason) Amos, Kelly (Alex) Peck, Krisann (Garrett) Parsons, Tanya (Dan) Tarbutton, Eric (Jessica) McGlashing, Gordon Martin, Stephen (Kaylin) Martin, Catherine (Brandon) Brisco; 20 great-grandchildren; several much loved nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Malcolm; sisters, Hilda in infancy, and Catherine (Sherman) Donkin. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22 from 6-8 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, November 23 at 11:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, 669 Prince Street, Truro. Interment in Robie Street Cemetery.
