It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Woodward of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, announces her passing on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 89 years. She will be sadly missed by her children Herb (Kay), Alvin and Elsie; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister Keziah Woodward; brothers Wilfred Coates (Beckey) and Whyman Coates (Catherine); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Peter and son Cyril. Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday and on Sunday from St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Boat Harbour from where the funeral service was held on Monday, Nov. 11. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Boat Harbour. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Goose Bay and Port au Choix.
