It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sadie Pilgrim of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, announces her passing on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at her residence in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 95 years. She will be sadly missed by her children Blanche (Max), Enid (Brian), Melinda (Larry), Darlene (Peter), Ivy (Raymond), Lyla (Keith), Eldon (Jennie), Melvin (Beryl) and Donna (Garth); 29 grandchildren and 48 great- grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred, brother Ralph Bartlett, twin sister Hettie, sisters, Rhoda, Madeline and Olive, parents Ambrose and Blanche Bartlett, sons Eugene and Guy and daughter Shirley. Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday and on Sunday from the Pentecostal Church in St. Lunaire-Griquet from where the funeral service was held on Monday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. Interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery, St. Lunaire-Griquet.
