Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I., on Friday, October 3, 2008, of Mr. Clair Thomas McKinnon of Clyde River and formerly of Douglastown, N.B., in his 82nd year. Clair was the son of the late Vincent and Catherine (Wood) McKinnon. He is survived his brother, Paul (Pauline) McKinnon, Clyde River, P.E.I.; his sister, Nora Daley, Miramichi City, N.B.; and by many nieces and nephews. Clair was predeceased by his brothers, Basil, Chester (Buddy), John, Hugh and twin brother, William (Bill). Transferred from the Cutcliffe Funeral Home to the Maher’s Funeral Home, 35 University Ave., Chatham, N.B., for visitation on Sunday, October 5, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Samuel’s Church, Douglastown, N.B., on Monday, October 6, at 11 a.m., with interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
