At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, November 22, 2013, of N. Evelyn Thibeau of Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, and formerly of North Rustico and Kensington, aged 87 years.
Born in North Rustico on February 14, 1926, daughter and last surviving member of the late Jerry P. and Emilie (Gallant) Gauthier family. Predeceased by her first husband J. Arthur Gauthier.
Wife of Joseph H. Thibeau, Clinton View Lodge, Clinton. Mother of Bonita (Bonnie) Conrod, Dianne Sampson (George, deceased), both of North Rustico, and Lynn Cooper, Saskatoon. Grandmother to eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Sister-in-law of Bernice Gauthier, North Rustico; Cyril Gallant (Theresa deceased), Kensington; Art Thibeau (Grace Razavet), Summerside; Fred (Waneatta) Thibeau, Kensington; Phyllis Thibeau (William deceased), Kensington; Jean (Lawrence) Coldwell, Greenwood, N.S.; and George (Lynda) Thibeau, Dundas, ON. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Indian River.
