Paul Constantine
CONSTANTINE, PAUL - Paul Raymond Constantine, 89, of Salisbury and formerly Monteagle, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Monteagle, he was a son of the late Arthur and Helen (Keohan) Constantine. Paul was a retired wood's contractor and a member of St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church. He took great pride in his gardens, enjoyed hunting and was the washer toss family champion. Survived and missed by his wife of sixty-seven years Doris (Caissie); daughter Diane Steeves (Denis) of Berry Mills; sons Edwin (Linda) of Salisbury, Raymond (Pauline) of Mulmur, On., Brian (Kathy) of Monteagle, Eugene (Debra) Second North River and Walter (Brenda) of Monteagle; daughter-in-law Heather Jonah of Coverdale; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Paul is the last surviving member of his immediate family. Predeceased by his son Norman; son-in-law Terry Steeves; granddaughter Tracey Steeves; sisters Agnes and Theresa; brothers Robert, Clement, Arnold, Mark and Gerald.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with parish prayers and memory sharing at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, Salisbury on Thursday November 28 at 10 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Leaman Hill. If desired, memorials to the NB Lung Association, the Kidney Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
