SMITH, DORIS T. - Doris T. Smith, 92, of the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville and formerly of Moncton, passed away at her residence on Sunday, November 24, 2013. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha (Bovard) Knowlan. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Doris is survived by her daughter, Ferne Lindhurst (James) of Ontario; son, Gary Smith (Doris) of Coal Branch; five grandchildren; one brother, Sanford Knowlan of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her husband, Milton W. Smith (April 2009); brothers, Leonard, Kenneth, Percy and Henry and one sister, Violet.
Private graveside committal service was held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, with Pastor David Way officiating. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) in care of arrangements.
