
Doreen Pettigrew
PETTIGREW, DOREEN J. - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen J. Pettigrew, 73, of Moncton, at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, November 24, 2013, with loving family members at her side. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Lirette) Goguen. Doreen was a retired Administrative Assistant with General Motors Moncton with over 29 years service. She was a member of the Women’s Probus Club of South Eastern New Brunswick and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed bowling, skating, reading, quilting, sewing, crafts, socializing with her friends and spending special time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Doreen will be sadly missed by her husband of 50 years, Robert “Bob”; daughter, Shelley Cameron (Todd Cameron) of Moncton and son, Michael Pettigrew (Tracy Turner) of Upper Coverdale and their four legged companion “Briar”; precious grandchildren, Michael and Christine; sisters, Norma O’Hara (Larry) of Truro, NS, Doris Collette (Albert) of Moncton, Freda LeBlanc (late Omer) of Dieppe and Lorraine MacPhee (Nelson) of Riverview; brothers, Georges Goguen (Germaine) of Moncton, Roger Goguen (Barbara) of Moncton, Ronald Goguen (Heather) of Moncton and Terry Goguen (Valerie) of Riverview; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Doreen was predeceased by her baby brother, Raymond. Doreen endeared herself to many through thoughtful acts of kindness and helping others -
her humour and love of life will be missed, but fondly remembered.

Funeral Service at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Charles Broderick officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
