TINGLEY, CHESTER C. - 1948 - 2013 - Chester C. Tingley, 65, of Moncton, NB; passed away in Moncton, on Sunday, November 24, 2013. Born in Moncton, he is the son of Dorothy Tingley and the late Clifton H. Tingley. He was a former member of the Sunny Brae Baptist Church. Chester served with the RCAF from 1966-1967. He was formerly employed as a Conductor with the CNR and BC. Rail prior to his retirement. He was a member of AA the Clark Group, Chester enjoyed baking and cooking for others, he loved his cats, he also enjoyed to read and taking long walks. A loving man, he will be sadly missed by his wife Nancy L. Tingley; mother Dorothy Tingley of Riverview; mother-in-law Shirley Dewitte of Moncton; one daughter Rebecca LeClair (Frank) of Oromocto; two sons Trevor Tingley (Carol) of Moncton and Warrant Officer Chester W. Tingley (Heidi) of Petawawa, ON; seven grandchildren, Dimitri, MacKenzie and Amelia, Kendall, Kate, Hayden and Ella; three brothers Oscar (Louise) of Riverview, Garnet (Wendy) of Hampton and Don (Nancy) of Oakville, ON; as well as nieces, nephews, sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
Resting at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with visitation on Wednesday, November 25, 2013, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Cecil Symes officiating. Interment will be in Wilmot Memorial Cemetery, Lower Coverdale, NB. Donations in Chester's memory made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
