The death occurred at the Prince Edward Home on Sunday, October 5, 2008, of Mrs. Frances M. (Reta) MacEachern (nee Darrach) formerly of Clyde River, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Lorne MacEachern. Dear mother of Oswald “Ozzie” MacEachern and beloved grandmother of Jeremy, Adam and Andrew MacEachern. She is also lovingly remembered by her special niece, Fairlie Wallace, and nephews, Ivan and Kendall Darrach and Hartley Corney. She was the last surviving member of the late Neil and Dicie (nee MacLean) Darrach. She is also predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Oswald, Eldon, Kathleen, Ivan, Lloyd and Helen. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m., with interment to follow in the family plot at Clyde River United Baptist Cemetery.
