Passed suddenly away at the Health Science Center on November 23, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his sons Derrick and Keith Escott; son-in-law Mark Boone; and parents Elizabeth and Edward Escott. Left to cherish his life are his wife Kathleen Escott; children Valerie Boone and Paul Escott (Dan); daughterin-law Jenny Escott; grandchildren Keira Boone (Bill), Shannon Perry (P.J.), Tyler Escott, Melanie Escott, Shane Escott (Jennifer), and Tonya Escott; great-grandchildren Isabella Babstock, Markus Perry, Zachary Perry, Benjamin and Jordan Escott; brother Edward Escott; sisters Gertrude Locke and Bernice Beason; as well as other relatives and friends. At George's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Caul's Chapel on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. No flowers by Request, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
