James Malcolm McAfee
McAFEE, JAMES MALCOLM - It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of James Malcolm McAfee formerly of Red Head. Malcolm passed away surrounded by his family on November 27, 2013 at Kings Way Care Center. Born in July of 1930 in Saint John he was the son of the late Robert John and Dorothy Louise (Price) McAfee. Malcolm was one of the oldest residents left from Red Head, he grew up on the McAfee Farm and ran the family farm for many years. He later worked for NB Tel retiring in 1992. Malcolm was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and enjoyed nature, gardening and walking. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years Sandra E. (Myers) McAfee of Red Head; son Duane M. (Tara) of Quispamsis; daughters Linda Beyea (Kevin) of Moncton and Debra Cosman (Mike) of Rothesay; sister Dorothy Bloomquist of Connecticut; seven grandchildren Jordan, Alexandra, Seth, Josh, Erin, Branden and Lana; several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers John Robert and Daryl Gordon and sisters Mildred Beckwith, Muriel Stewart, Irene McAfee and Marjorie McAfee.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646- 2424) with visitation on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Private family service will be held. Interment at Fernhill Cemetery. Donations in Malcolm's memory can be made to the Kings Way Care Center, Parkinson's Society or the Lewy Body Foundation.
