Passed peacefully away at her residence on Friday, November 29, 2013, at age 71. Predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) in 2011, and granddaughter Kayla Walsh in 2007. Leaving to mourn her daughters: Heather Dai (Philip), and Lisa Walsh (Paul); grandchildren: Sarah, Max, and Carson; sisters: Sylvia Porter (Albert), Glenys Wiseman (Dennis), Sandra Power (Dave), and Barb Smith (Gerard); brothers: Rick Learning (Dolly), and Roger Learning (Sharon); sister-in-law Linda Whalen (Henry); brother-in-law Bill Kennedy (Daphne); also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends. At her wish, cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Sunday, December 8th, from 7:00pm-9:00pm; and Monday, December 9th, from 12:00pm-5:00pm, and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Memorial service to take place at First United Church on Tuesday, December 10th, at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
