Lynn Lillian Freeman - 76, of Kentville, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Thorne) DeAdder. She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kentville and was active with Cursillo, the Social and Hospitality committee and sang in the choir. Lynn loved the Lord and tried to live her life accordingly. She held positions with Steadman's in Kentville, Maritime Medical Care in Halifax, General Electric in Toronto, T.P. Calkin in Kentville, the Pathology Institute in Halifax, Huyck Canada Limited in Kentville and Camp Aldershot. Lynn enjoyed attending jam sessions and playing Bingo. She is survived by her husband, Earle; five sisters, Lila Folker, Grand View Manor, Berwick; Anna (Louie) Hollinger, Kelowna, British Columbia; Barbara (Albert) Arsenault, Williamswood; Doreen (Elwood) Dorman, Coldbrook; Betty Harris, Centreville; two brothers, Bernard (Rosemary), Coldbrook; Burton (Hazel), Greenwood; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Jean Schwartz; two brothers, Frederick Jr. "Sonny" and Wayne. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville with prayers to be held at 8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013 in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kentville, Father John MacPherson officiating. Burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Kentville. A reception will follow in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Parish Hall. Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Valley Hospice Foundation.
