The death occurred peacefully, and surrounded by her family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, November 29, 2013, of Elizabeth MacLeod (nee Clark), beloved wife of Billie, of North Milton and formerly of Brookfield, age 81.
Elizabeth was the loving mother of Joy MacIntyre (David), Brian, and Jill Parsons (Derek); and grandmother of Rebecca, Kelsie and Clark MacIntyre; and Colby Parsons. She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Clark; brothers-in-law, Leith Easter and Lincoln MacLeod (Isabel); sister-in-law, Katherine Murray; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her son, Ronnie, tragically by accident in 1989; her parents, Walter and Beatrice (Hooper) Clark; sisters-in-law, Hope Easter and Sarah Larter (Willie); and brother-in-law, Lorne Murray.
Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Monday, December 2, 2013, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Brookfield Presbyterian Church, Brookfield, on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. Interment in Brookfield Cemetery.
