Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Home on March 11, 2008, Eileen Cain of St. John's (formerly of Spaniard's Bay), 83 years of age. Auntie Eileen is predeceased by her parents, Tom and Mary; brothers: Gerald, Jack, Joe and Tom; and sisters: Anne, Helen and Ursuline. She is survived by her brother Fred of Brockton, Massachusetts; sisters: Kathleen (Beresford) of St. John's and Margaret (Abajian) of Boise, Idaho; sisters-in-law: Marie (Cain) of Harbour Grace and Christine (Cain) of Toronto; as well as many nieces and nephews. Auntie Eileen will be especially missed by Kathleen's children: Eileen (Young), Anne (Buckle), Frank, Phil, Jim and Gerry, for whom she was a second mother and a second grandmother to their children. Cremation has taken place. A visitation and celebration of Auntie Eileen's life will occur at a future date. At that time, and in keeping with her wishes, she will be interred with her mother and father in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Spaniard's Bay. Our family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Agnes Pratt Home for their loving care of Auntie Eileen during these past six years. It has meant the world to us.
