It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their mother, Brenda on November 29, 2013. Brenda was born and raised in Fortune, Fortune Bay and at an early age she moved to St. John's and began working with The London New York and Paris, where she met her husband Kevin. Our mother was in her 78th year and passed away at the Hoyles - Escasoni Complex. She was pre-deceased by her husband Kevin, her parents James and Florence Monster, sister Millie, and her grandson Matthew. Leaving to mourn is her sister Mary Simmonds, Ont. and her loving children, Debbie Sparkes (Steve), Donna McLaughlin (Paul) New Brunswick, Chris (Bobbie Wells), David (Lorinda) Ontario, Karen Thomson, Texas, Steven (Kim), Robert (Jennifer) Ontario; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, St. John's on Thursday December 5, 2013, 2 p.m-4 p.m 7 p.m-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place Friday December 6, 3013 at 11 a.m. at Barrett's Funeral Home Chapel.
