It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gary Lee Behn age 60 of Amherst announce his sudden passing.
Born in Springhill, he was the son of the late Gerald Behn and Shirley (Lewis) “Behn” Dobson.
After graduation from Oxford Regional High School, Gary attended Forestry School in Fredericton, NB.
He worked for many years in the Auto Parts industry and also for Scott’s Nursery in Fredericton.
Gary was an avid reader and had a passion for Football and the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his sister Sharon (Graham) Nelson of Amherst, step sister Bonnie (Perry) Horne of Eastern Passage, step brother Jerry (Darlene) Dobson of Cambridge, NS and several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles.
Besides his parents Gary was predeceased by his step father Gerald Dobson and his maternal grandparents Archie and Ida Vim Lewis.
Cremation has taken place.
At Gary’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations in Gary’s memory may be made to the L.A. Animal Shelter or the charity of your choice.
