We lost our dear sweet mother, Marie Jean Wilkinson, on Sunday December 1, 2013. She shared in our successes, supported us in our failures and was always ready to talk with us. She was our best friend. She was our dear sweet Mom. We will miss her greatly. Marie is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Audrey Garbutt; her brothers Don (Val) Thomson, Ron Thomson and Gordon (Mary) Thomson; sisters-in-law Joan Wilkinson, Betty Hoffman, and Barb (Ron) LeBlanc; brother-in-law Ralph (Cecile) Wilkinson; and many nieces and nephews. Thank you to the staff on First Floor Union Hospital and Memory Lane at Pioneer Lodge for their excellent care of Mom. We extend a very special thank you to Dr. J. Vermaak, for being both her doctor and her friend.
