It is with broken hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Terry Tremblett, of Little Pond, Florence. He was the beloved husband and soul-mate of Michelle (Morrison) Tremblett for 35 years, and passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved, on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at home.
Born in Sydney Mines on May 19, 1960, he was the son of William and Ester (Butts) Tremblett.
Terry was a labourer by trade, and was employed with Locals 92 and 1115 for over 30 years.
Besides his wife and parents, Terry leaves behind to mourn his two children, Tara Lee (Stephen) Legacy, Edmonton, Alta., and Justin, Halifax; his two grandchildren, Jace and Jules, who were the sparkles in their Poppy’s eyes. He loved them dearly. He is also survived by brothers, Billy (Judy) and Ernie, Sydney Mines, Freddy (Sherry) and Kevin, Surrey, B.C.; and sisters, Doris (Blair) Jessome and Brenda (John) Tremblett. He also leaves behind his longtime friend, Greg Jobes, who will miss their daily drives and coffee runs. Terry leaves behind a close friend and brother-in-law, Paul Morrison (Joanne); sister-in-law, Cathy and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Terry was predeceased by a sister, Barbara, and a special nephew, Jason Jessome.
Visitation for Terry Tremblett will be held in J.M. Jobes Funeral Home today (Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013), from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of his life will take place on Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Fr. Patrick O’Neill officiating.
Family flowers only. Donations in Terry’s memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit (An Cala) at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
