MANZER, DONALD - Donald Philip Manzer of Fredericton, passed away peacefully at Pine Grove Nursing Home on Monday, December 2, 2013 at the age of 90. Born and raised in Marysville, NB, he was the son of the late Arnold and Pansy (Hazelwood) Manzer and the husband of the late Anna (Moore) Manzer. Don was a graduate of the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. He was employed by the Province of NB as a Materials Field Engineer with the Dept. of Transportation. Don was a longstanding member and Trustee of Wilmot United Church and in 1978 he became the Chairman of the Fredericton Rural Cemetery Committee where he served for 32 years. Don is survived by his son Peter and his wife Linda (Gibson) of Calgary Alberta; three granddaughters, Victoria, Olivia and Eliza; sister-in-law Alma Moore; two nieces and one nephew. Special thanks go out to his niece Joyce Booker for all of her kindness and support.
