Peacefully, with family by her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, of Willa “Billie” Sinnott of Charlottetown, age 87 years.
Beloved wife of the late Dr. J.C. “Cy” Sinnott and dear mother of Patrick (Darlene) Sinnott, Maureen Sinnott, Sheila Sinnott, Marylou Sinnott, Bethany Sinnott and Leah Sinnott (Walter Somers). She is lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Beverley FitzGerald (Ed) Benson; sisters-in-law, Mary Kelly, Phyllis MacLellan, Rachael Green; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Kathleen FitzGerald; brothers-in-law, Ralph, Owen, P.R., and Clement; and sisters-in-law, Mabel MacLellan, Norma Sinnott, Frances O’Donoghue and Lorraine Selinger.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Willa’s memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
