It is with great sadness that the family of the late EILEEN POWER of Marystown announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the age of 58. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Husband - Dave of 36 years; Son - Evan (Donna) of Marystown: Mother - Winnifred Smith of Brookside; Mother-in-law - Lydia Fitzpatrick of Marystown; Stepson - Cecil (Leslie) Tucker of Lethbridge; Step-Grandchildren - Jayda & Graysen Tucker of Lethbridge; Sisters - Frances (Floyd) Matterface of Boat Harbour and Ashley (Aaron) Smith of Lawn; Brothers - Bruce (Elsie) Smith of Brookside, Les (Linda) Smith of Marystown, Brian (Marjorie) Smith of Brookside, Doug (Pauline) Smith of St. Bernard’s, Walt (Beatrice) Smith of Marystown and Johnny (Krista) Smith of Medicine Hat, AB; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by her Father - John Smith.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, November 19th at 2:00 p.m., from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. In Eileen’s memory donations may be made to The Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation, or Daffodil Place or flowers gratefully accepted.
