are saddened to announce that after a courageous battle with cancer, Dorothy passed away in Thompson Manitoba on September 22, 2013 at the age of 61. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth Searle and her sister Betty. Left to mourn her departure and cherish her memories are her children and grandchildren: Susan (Gord and Quinton), Edith (Rod, Tiffany and Aiden), Blair (Starla, Chris, Shane, Jordan and David), Tanya (Desmond and Tanisha.) and a large circle of friends. Funeral service will be held on December 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the New Anglican Church, Bell Island, Newfoundland with a reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Bell Island, Newfoundland. Dorothy will be remembered and missed by everyone she touched over the years and will continue to live in our hearts and our memories.
