Enoil Ouellette
OUELLETTE, ENOIL - Enoil “Willie” Roland Ouellette, loving husband of Alice (Depres) Ouellette, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2013 with his family by his side. Born 1925 in Baker Brook, NB he was the son of the late Denis and Clauda (Nadeau) Ouellette. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers René, Marc, Conrad and Armand Ouellette and sister Carmen Jenkins. Enoil worked for Irving Pulp and Paper as an Electrician for 44 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 6770, Club Arc de Ciel, Third Order of St. Francis, Assumption Church Choir, and Irving Retiree’s Club; was very active with bowling and old time fiddle music and pastoral care at CentreCare and Carleton Kirk Lodge. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Besides his loving wife of 62 ½ years, Alice, he is survived by his sons Robert Ouellette (Susan) of Saint John, Norman Ouellette (Diane) of Hampton and Roger Ouellette (Margie) of Saint John; daughter Dianne Tugwell (Graham) of Quispamsis; brother Fernand Gill Ouellette of Quispamsis; sisters Theresa Roy (Herb) of Hartford, Con. and Mary Ann Keleher (Raymond) of Saint John; eight cherished grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, December 11, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Assumption Church on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Assumption Center.
