The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family on Monday, October 6, 2008, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Betty Douglas, age 88 years young. Funeral will be held Friday, October 10, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the North Shore Funeral Home. Interment will be Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at 10 a.m. at West St. Peters Cemetery. Memorial donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the West St. Peters Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
