Peacefully, following a long and courageous battle with cancer, at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus with her loving family by her side on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 at the age of 44 years.
Georgina Neville (nee Fowler) of Petawawa, beloved and cherished wife of Shawn Neville. Loved and devoted mother of Christopher and Gillian Neville. Dear daughter of Joan Fowler (nee Nearing) of Glace Bay, N.S. and the late David Fowler. Sister of Margaret Mitchell (Bob), Viola Bruffatto, Cape Breton, Joe Fowler (Sheila), Ontario and David Fowler, Cape Breton and the late John James Fowler. Daughter-in-law of James Neville of River Ryan, N.S and Carolyn (Carly) Neville of Glace Bay, N.S. Sister-in-law of Charlene Hopkins, Moncton, N.B and Sherry McLean (B.J.), Antigonish, N.S.
Georgina will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Georgina with her family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella St., Pembroke on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay and a funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. in St. Anne’s Church, Glace Bay with Interment in the parish cemetery. Fr. Leo Boone officiating.
