JOHNSON, MARGARET O. - It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Margaret O. Johnson, age 80, of Dorchester. Margaret passed away peacefully at her home while surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 13, 2013. Born in Dorchester Cape, NB, she was a daughter of the late Alton and Burma (Buck) Read. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Margaret took great pride in her family and her home. She loved her animals and all the animals on the street, and enjoyed bird watching around her yard. She will be sadly missed by her son Larry (Sharon Penny), Shoal Harbour, NL, and 1 daughter Peggy (Bill) Richardson, Dorchester, 6 grandchildren; Amanda, J.R. (William), Ryan, Samantha, Nicole and Justin; great grandchildren Naudia, Katerina, Seth, and Malia; sister Edith (Clarence) Colp, Dorchester. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd; son Scott; great grandaughter Mae Zoe Elizabeth Hicks; twin brother Ainsley; brothers Charles, Lester, Laurie and Alton Jr.; sister Madeline Long, Eileen Cole, and Nellie Brown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). A private family service will be held at a later date. She will be buried beside her husband and son in Fair Haven Memorial Garden, Moncton.
