URQUHART, BEATRICE - Beatrice Urquhart, 88, of Saint John, passed away on December 17, 2013 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on April 27, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Walter Montford and Rebecca (Beckwith) Montford. A wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Bea is survived by her children Gary Urquhart (Ardis) of Rossland, B.C. and Karen Urquhart of Saint John, N.B.; grandson Scott Urquhart of Rossland, B.C.; sister Shirley Livingston of Dartmouth, N.S.; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Roland Urquhart and her sisters, Francis McBriar, Lillian Truesdale Flynn, Emma Boyle and brothers, Walter Montford, Colin Montford and Percy Montford.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, December 29th at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John where a funeral service followed by a reception will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 30th. Interment will take place at a later date in Kiersteadville Cemetery. Donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
