Surrounded by his devoted wife Sandra and his in-laws Catherine, Cliff and Paul, Graham Andrew Wheeler died peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2013, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Sandra (Allen); mother-in-law Dorothy Allen; sister-in-law Catherine Allen-Westby (Cliff); brothers-in-law Ford (Agnes) and Paul Allen (Tammy); nephews Kelsey, Keegan, and Ethan Allen. Born in Corner Brook on September 8, 1944, to Percy and Doris Wheeler, deceased, Graham grew up fostering many long and close relationships. He will be greatly missed by all those lives he touched with his great wit and insight. His quips about the human condition were often tempored with a healthy dose of cynicism. Graham’s grace in the face of his illness was an inspiration to all those close to him. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home; 167 Country Road on Sunday December 22, 2013 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Monday December 23, 2013 from 10 am – 12 noon. Funeral Service will take place from The First United Church, Park Street on Monday December 23, 2013 at 2 pm, with Reverend Harry Whitehorne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made in Graham’s memory to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
