Brown, Courtney Michelle, Belmont – It is with great sadness that family and friends announce the passing of Courtney Michelle Brown on December 21, 2013 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro on September 12, 1983 she was the daughter of Holly and Terry Brown, Belmont, Colchester County. Courtney loved to watch wrestling on Friday nights with her dad. She loved to go shopping with her mom and spending time with her family. Courtney will be forever missed, leaving a special place in many people’s hearts. She is survived by her parents; sister, Rachel (Geoff) Wenham, Great Village; brother, Colton (Megan), Lethbridge, AB; niece and nephews, Shelby, Austin and Mason Wenham; paternal grandparents, Russell and Sandra Brown, Shubenacadie; maternal grandfather, Ross (Marie) Pynn, Belmont; maternal grandmother, Eleanor Pynn, Truro; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Courtney will be missed by her special companion, her dog, “Sucker”. She was predeceased by her uncle, “Nemo” Howard Brown. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 28th, 2013 at 10:30 am in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Pastor Lennett Anderson officiating.
