Chaisson, William John “Bill”, age 54, of Greenfield, Hants County, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at the V. G. Site, Q.E.II, Halifax. Born on July 31, 1959, in Halifax, he was the son of the late Wilbert and Linda (Broydell) Chaisson. Bill work at the Sportsplex, Acadia University, Wolfville for the past 10 years. Bill loved his grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, the former Faith Lorraine Caldwell; son, Jacob, Greenfield; daughter, Natalie (James) Crossley, Wolfville; grandchildren, Abigail and Hannah Crossley; Olivia and William Pollard; brothers, Gordon (Deb), Blairmore, Alta.; Dana (Sheri), Kelowna, BC; Barry (Mary), Calgary, Alta.; Kevin (Lorna), Mosherville; sisters, Kim (Todd) Foley, Scotch Village; Sandy Chaisson (Shannon), Middle Sackville; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Jim Lahey, Windsor, and to the Doctors and Nurses on 3, 4 & 8 V. G. Site, Q.E.II, Halifax. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Sunday, December 22, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at a later date.
