The death occurred at Whisperwood Villa on Monday, December 23, 2013 of Velda A. Wells of Charlottetown, age 87 years.
Beloved wife of the late Walter K. Wells. Loving mother of Earl (predeceased), Marilyn (John) Oatway and Marvyn (Patty) Wells. Grandmother of Roger (Margaret) Wells, Jason (Angela), Shawn (Jocelyn) and Christopher (Katie) Oatway and Mitchell, Oliver and Emma Wells (Andre Gallant). Great-grandmother of Alicia, Charlotte, Juliette, Chloe and Maggie. Sister of Olive Atkinson (predeceased) and Oscar (Mollie) Hardy.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment later in Hillcrest Cemetery, Alberton. If so desired, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
