Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, December 23, 2013, of Boyd "Ray" MacQuarrie of Hampton, age 79 years. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Younker) MacQuarrie. Dear father of Billy (Lindsay Moore), Bob (Shelley), and Alan (Stefanie) MacQuarrie. Loving grandfather of Hayley, Lia and Cass, Amber and Justin MacQuarrie. Also survived by sisters Annie Hollister, Muriel Allen, Margaret MacPhail, Sarah MacQuarrie, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Boyd and May MacQuarrie and brother Bill MacQuarrie. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visiting hours Friday, Dec. 27, 4-7 p.m. A private family service will be held Saturday.
