PARLEE, MARION ALBERTA - Mrs. Marion Alberta Parlee of Quispamsis passed away at her residence on December 25, 2013 at the age of 71. She was the daughter of the late James and Jennie (Caldwell) King and was the wife of the late Glendon Parlee who passed away in 2008. Marion is survived by three sons: Bob and his wife Suzanne of Quispamsis, Wayne and his wife Pamela of Quispamsis and Stephen and his wife Samantha of Rothesay; two daughters: Ann Neil and her husband Stephen of Riverview and Karen Wagg and her husband James of Quispamsis; ten grandchildren: Nicholas, Katie, Olivia , Jenna , Stephanie, Andrew , Megan , Ashley , Jessica and Erin; her sisters: Helen Marr, Edna Ross (Don), Evelyn Christian; her brother James King (Joanne) as well as several nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her brother William King and her brother in law David Christian.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A service celebrating Marion's life will be held from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10:00 am. The interment will take place at St. Phillips Roman Catholic Cemetery. If you are considering making a memorial donation the family has recommended the Alzheimer's Society.
