The passing of Ansel Judson, age 90, of Montague, husband of Madge (nee McDonough) of 60 years, occurred on Monday, December 24, 2013, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.
Born in Mount Hope January 7, 1923, he was the son of the late Adoniram and Lulu (Dockendorff) Judson. Besides his loving and caring wife Madge, Ansel is survived by his beloved children, Ian (Nancy) Judson, Coleen (Paul) Norris, Keith Judson, Priscilla (Dan) Trecartin; cherished by 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brother, Hinson Judson; and a sister-in-law, Kathleen Judson. Ansel was predeceased by a brother, Witley, and an infant grandson.
Funeral service will be held in the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2013. A private family interment will follow in the Dundas Acorn Cemetery.
Donations to the Montague Baptist Church or the Kings County Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
