It is with heavy hearts that the family of John would like to announce his passing on December 22, 2013. John is survived by his wife Maisie, daughter Elaine (Warren), sons, Ellis and Edsel, grandchildren, Jacob and Amber, sisters, Ada (Mike d.), Loretta (Willie), Mary (Daniel), Bonnie (Daniel), Elizabeth (Charles d.), Frances (Edward), Hilda (Jack), sister-in-law, Carol, brothers, Tom (Shirley), Fred (Margaret), brother-in-law, Joseph and numerous nieces and nephews. John is predeceased by his parents, Arch and Jane (Bartlett) Linthorne; sisters, Sybil (Glen) and Margaret, brothers, James (Loretta), Arch, Joseph and Robert. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The John Linthorne Memorial Fund or The Trinity Conception Health Foundation.
