It is with great sadness that family of the late Vivian Elaine King announce her passing on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Lakeside Homes, Gander, Formerly of Change Islands, NL in her 77th year. Predeceased by husband Sidney, parents George and Nellie Peckford, brother Joseph, sisters Annie Brushett (James) and Barbara Murphy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughter Kristy Slaney (Frank), grandchildren Jared, Courtney (Josh Stoyles), Heidi Hefford (Chris), Angie (Ryan Raymond), great grandchildren Sarah, Peyton and Raya, brothers Bert (Shirley) and Franklin (Linda), sisters Sandra Primmer (John), Kathleen Gray (William) and Ruby Wells (Ken), brother in law Dennis Murphy and a large circle of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Rested at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander on December 28th and Sunday, December 29th, 2013 Funeral service was held Monday, December 30th, 2013 from St. Martin's Anglican Church, Gander. Interment followed at the All Saints Cemetery, Gander. Donations in Vivian's honor may be made to The Alzheimer's Society or St. Martin's Cathedral.
