Pynn, Murray L. Jr “Manny” - 65, Onslow Mountain, passed away on Friday December 27, 2013 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro surrounded by his family. Born on October 7, 1948 in Truro to the late Murray L. Sr. and Irene (MacKenzie) Pynn. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Reta (Reid) Pynn. He is also survived by his daughter, Shelley (Chuck) Turner; son, Kevin (Kerry) Pynn; sister, Doris Furlotte; brothers, Bill (Jean) Pynn and David (Janice) Pynn. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Ava who was the light of his life. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Tanya Pynn; brothers-in-law, Ivan Armsworthy and George Lyndsay and sister-in-law, Judy Buchanan. Manny drove various types of trucks for the past 50 years and made many trips off of Belmont Mountain. His family was the most important thing in his life and will be greatly missed by the people who loved him the most. Heartfelt thanks from the family to the Palliative Care Unit and all the nurses who took great care of Manny and all of us at this difficult time. Visitation will be held from 1 – 1:45 p.m. with a celebration of Manny’s life being held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Rev.
