The death occurred peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, Montague on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, of Elizabeth “Betty” Yorston (nee Fitzpatrick), age 56 years. Daughter of Pius and Constance Fitzpatrick. Beloved mother of Winnie Jr (Roberta), Russell (Kay) and Chad (Ashley). Loving grandmother of Tyler, Dalton, Hunter, Christopher, Drew, Eathan, Kezlee and Sophie. Sister of Donna (James “Connie”) Peters, Andy Fitzpatrick, Paul (Sherry) Fitzpatrick, Kevin Fitzpatrick and Owen Fitzpatrick. Daughter-in-law of Lois Yorston, sister-in-law of Cliff (Theresa) Yorston, Gordon (Lenora) Yorston, Donna Legere, Susie Yorston, Gloria (Dan) Knox and Brenda Yorston. Predeceased by her husband, Winston Yorston, her mother, Constance Fitzpatrick, her brothers-in-law, Russell Yorston Sr. and Eloi Leger. Remains resting at the Lounge of St. James Parish, Georgetown for visitation on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass to be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008, at St. James Parish, Georgetown at 2 p.m. Interment at the St. Georges Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Georges. Donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Georges Cemetery Fund. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to the North Shore Funeral Home in Morell.
