GAUVIN, EVA - 1928 - 2013 - Eva Gauvin, 85, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Moncton, NB, passed away on Monday, December 30th, 2013, at her residence. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fidel and the late Elizabeth (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Mrs. Gauvin had retired from St Henri School. She was an avid card player, enjoyed playing bingo, shuffleboard and was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce parish. She is survived by one daughter, Jeannette Gauvin of Moncton; two sons: Roger (Rosetta) Gauvin and Terry (Diane) Gauvin, both of Moncton; three brothers: Fred LeBlanc of Kitchener, ON, Regis LeBlanc of Dieppe and Gerard LeBlanc of Moncton; three grandchildren: Chantal, Jamie and Jason; five great grandchildren: Jazmine, Arianna, Taylor, Janelle and Eric, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest in 2011; one daughter, Dorine; and also by four brothers: Edouard, Joseph, Roger and Tilmon.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 pm ONLY. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB on Saturday, January 4th, 2013 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
