MacPherson, Elizabeth Pearl – 53, Valley, Colchester County, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of Reita (Ripley) and the late Bernard MacPherson. Elizabeth was a Registered Nurse with the Victorian Order of Nurses for many years having graduated with her Master’s of Science in Nursing from McMaster University. She was very proud of her daughter Brittany and her accomplishments. She is survived by brother, Mark (Candace) MacPherson; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be take place on Friday, January 3 from 6-8 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro; memorial Service on Saturday, January 4 at 2:00 pm in First United Church, 711 Prince St., Truro with the Rev. Valerie Kingsbury officiating. Interment at a later date in Watson Cemetery.
