Passed peacefully away, Kevin Pittman, aged 65 yrs, at his home in Point Verde on January 1, 2014. Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Cyril and Lorraine; his sisters Mary, Dorothy and Lorraine; and his brothers James, Thomas, Brian, Aubrey and Eugene. Kevin will be forever missed and loved by his wife, Elizabeth, his step-children, Charles and Stephanie and his step-granddaughter Amanda. Also leaving to mourn are his sisters Ethel Robinson (Neil); his brothers, Gordon (Jenny), Cyril (Anne), Dermot (Betty), Russell (Heidi), and Patrick (Ina). In addition, Kevin leaves behind a large number of other relatives (both in Canada & the U.S.A.), and a wide circle of friends. While we, his family, mourn his sudden passing, we possess a deep and abiding faith that the spirit of this quiet, gentle and caring man has been received into the loving arms of those who have passed before him. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia, with visitation on Thursday, January 2nd from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, and Friday, January 3rd from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. A celebration of his life will take place on January 4, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Placentia to be followed by his internment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia.
