Passed peacefully away at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014, Frances Comeau at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with lasting memories are her children: Diane (Carl Jacobs), Gary (Bernice) and Tony; grandchildren: Jonathan Jacobs (Lindsay) and Tara (Chris Gushue); great-grandchildren: Hunter and Marcus; her sister, Bobbi and a large circle of friends and family here and away. She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Comeau. Fran spent her life giving to others. This includes her volunteering in the service during WWII, to 35 years of working with the Western Memorial Hospital Foundation and Auxiliary and most especially, her love and guidance to her family. There will be no visitation or ­formal funeral. Family will have a private burial at a later date. Thank you to the staff at Corner Brook Long Term Care who were so kind and supportive to our Mom and our family.
