It is with great sadness that we regret to announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, Patricia ‘Tish’ McGean on Jan. 3, 2014, at the age of 85.
Born in Sydney Mines, Tish was the daughter of the late John and Mary Nicholson.
Tish is survived by her children, Brian (Wanda, her best friend), Mary Lou Edwards (Jimmy), Patsy, Gary (Marie), Paul (Cindi), Michelle Pahl (Bruce); her brothers, Earl Nicholson and beloved brother, Johnny Nicholson; her grandchildren, David Cyril, Katrina (Tommy), Leigh Ann, Jimmy Lorne (Lisa), Anna, Cora Lee (Jody), Gary Jr., Christopher, Brian Paul, Stephen, Kimberley, Matthew, Shelly, Noelle (Dave), Brenda; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Brittany, David Jr., Kathleen, Travis, Jordan, AJ, Jayden, Cody, Brady, Simon, Chelsea and Joseph; also her special nieces, Ann MacIntyre and Karen; special friends, Patsy and Mosie Dove, Trish (Don), whom Tish considered part of her family.
Tish was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Nicholson, her husband, Saul McGean, brothers, Nick and Clifford, Joey, Wick, sisters, Freda, Trudy, Nellie, Lottie, Mae, Evelyn, Eva, son-in-law, David MacDougall and grandsons, Davey and Lloyd.
At Tish’s request there will be no visitation. Cremation has already taken place with burial to be held at a later date.
