ALLAIN, GERMAINE - 1921 - 2014 - Germaine Allain, 92 of Résidence Notre-Dame du Sacré-Cœur, Dieppe and formerly of Saint-Maurice de Kent passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Residence on Sunday January 5th, 2014. She was married to the late Calixte Allain (2002). Born in Saint-Maurice, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and the late Annie (LeBlanc) Savoie. She will be sadly missed by her seven children; Sr Aldora Allain ndsc of Moncton, Jeannine Cormier (Désiré), Lucia Duplessis (Omer), Girène Poirier (Raymond), Ronald (Léa), Léo (Gisèle) all of Bouctouche and Jean-Paul (Jeannine) of Cocagne, eight grandchildren; Sylvie, Serge, Denis, Maurice, Cynthia, Réjean, Ghislain, and Jeanelle and four great grandchildren; Chelsea, Alyssa, Maxime and Miguel. She also leaves to mourn one sister; Aldéa Savoie of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by four brothers; Lionel, Léonard, Léandre and Jaddus.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Thursday, January 9th, 2014 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Germaine’s memory donations may be made to the Résidence Notre-Dame du Sacré-Coeur, Dieppe.
