Léonce Joseph Arsenault of St.Chrysostome died peacefully with the love and support of his family by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, January 5, 2014. He was born on November 23, 1961, to Alfred (Eddy) and Rita (née Gallant) Arsenault of Le Chez Nous, Wellington. Besides his parents he leaves to mourn his loving son Mark (Geni) DesRoches and grandchildren Anikyn and Annaliesse, all of Fort McMurray AB. He is also survived by brothers and sisters: Marie (Elmer) of Wellington, Raymond (Célina) of Abram-Village, Helen (Grady) of Egmont Bay, Peter (Marie) of Mont-Carmel, Albert (Julie) of Mont-Carmel, and also several nieces and nephews. Léonce is predeceased by two brothers Maurice and Walter. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Thursday, Jan. 9, then to St. Philippe et St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Léonce's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be greatly appreciated. Family will receive friends and acquaintances on Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 6-9 p.m. only. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville.
